Sunday was my birthday – don’t ask, it’s impolite! Sunday, weather wise, was nasty, as was the Saturday before and the Friday before that. Consequently, my birthday past with little more than a whimper. Last night David, Timmy and I had plans to go to dinner then a movie. Before dinner, we met up with Cole, Jef, Jenny and Charles. Six of us, Charles was unable to attend, ended up going to Sushi Neko to celebrate my birthday. It was really unexpected! When she got off from work, Kim jonied us at the restaurant. After eating, we all decided to go to the Hi-Lo for a night cap. Incidently, we closed it down. It was a great time! Much to the chagrin of the other patrons, we played songs from musicals on the juke box as well as some interesting “remixes” of other favorites! I had a really good time! This was the first time in many moons that all of us have gone to dinner and then out! English churchman and historian Thomas fuller said “If your have one true friend, you have more than your share.” That being said, I truly have more than my fair share and several other people's shares as well. I have a great group of friends that I love very much. Thanks again for last night!
