Today would have been my fathers 77th birthday. I wish you were here so I could call you this morining and tell you Happy Birthday. I love you dad and miss you so much!

People don't realize how important punctuation is. A single comma can change the entire meaning of a sentence. Here is my favorite example. It's from a book Shimmy gave me for Christmas a few years back.

A panda walks into a cafe. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and fires two shots in the air.

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation. "Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

So, punctuation really does matter, even if it is only occasionally a matter of life and death.

In most states, it's actually 18 with parental consent. But then, who really cares?

Really? Depends on how your define involved...

It's kinda hard for me to say these days, I used to think about the famous people that way, but unfortunately (?), I can't seem to think of them that way anymore.

Probably Bella Donna by Stevie Nicks or perhaps some random musical soundtrack.

I don't think I really have one....hard to pick favorites.
